Military History Club Paratroopers 8280 (MHC Paratroopers 8280, in Czech "KVH Výsadkáři 8280") is interested in the past and current history of the 601st Special Forces Group of General Moravec from the Town of Prostějov. The unit changed its name and structure several times in the past but one thing remained the same – codename Military Unit 8280. The main interest of the club is focused on the era since the year of 1952 when the 22nd Airborne Brigade was established in Slovakia, but there is of course also focus on the Czechoslovak foreign resistance special operations and aiborne units from World War II.
